The problem
-----------

I interviewed small-factory (MSME) owners about why pollution control is hard to
adopt, and scoped the product around servicing.

The design
----------

An electrostatic precipitator (ESP) packaged as a slide-out cassette. It holds
the plates, electrodes, insulators and cleaning interface, so it can be cleaned
and swapped without dismantling the unit.

The prototype
-------------

I built the prototype and tested it with controlled smoke. Air passes through
this chain:

> pre-filter → pre-separator → flow straightener → ESP cassette → activated
> carbon → fine filter → 12 V blower

PM sensors at the inlet and outlet were compared across blower speeds.
